Circumvention inquiry under antidumping and countervailing duty order on certain brake drums from China
Commerce preliminarily determined that compacted graphite iron (CGI) brake drums from China are later-developed merchandise circumventing the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on brake drums from China, so they would be included in those orders on a country-wide basis. Commerce intends to have CBP suspend liquidation and collect cash deposits at the existing China-wide AD rate of 150.25 percent and the CVD all-others rate of 11.94 percent, unless a company has its own rate.
